NEWS: Star of Indiana-Produced “Amanda” Featured with Johnny Depp and Christian Bale in Gangster Epic “Public Enemies”
Indianapolis, IN – June 15, 2009 – Good timing enabled Indianapolis production
company, Adrenaline Motion Pictures, the opportunity to cast up-and-coming movie
actor Randy Ryan as the male lead in the romantic comedy, Amanda. Ryan will first be
seen next month co-starring in the much-anticipated Michael Mann gangster pic, Public
Enemies. The action film stars Johnny Depp as the infamous John Dillinger and
Christian Bale as FBI agent Melvin Purvis.
Casting Call: YARDSALE, 1999 Casting Call
Molly Gandour (prod.) is casting “Yardsale, 1999,” a DV short. Two starry eyed teenagers stumble onto a divorcee’s yard sale, leading to an exploration of imagination, adulthood and sexuality in contemporary suburbia. A psychological film inspired by a Raymond Carver story. Molly Gandour, dir. Shoots July 24 through August 1 in Indiana.

usually begin at 5:30 with dinner downstairs * totally optional, but a good time to meet the other filmmakers * and films begin at 7:00 upstairs in the theater.
The screenings last until approximately 9:00, then the coffee house is open until 10:00.
There will be an introduction of the filmmakers, as well as Q & A after the screening.
Dinner is inexpensive and homemade, the film screenings are FREE and open to the public.

Casting Call: "Freight" - Extras Casting Call
The producers of the feature film "Freight" have announced a casting call for extras for a shoot at the church Our Shepherd Lutheran Church near Avon they are looking for roughly 100 extras that could be available from 10:30Am to 5:00 PM. on Tue, or Thu of the 16th or the 18th. It is an Easter Sunday Sermon that one of the Lead characters is performing. Dress and attire is usual Church clothing/ Sundays best. All ages, races and sizes are welcome. NEWS: Four Indiana Filmmakers to compete at the Indianapolis International Film Festival

This year's Indianapolis International Film Festival will feature 4 short films by Indiana Filmmakers, with screenings July 16th and 21st. Kate Chaplin's "First They Came For", Dan T Hall's "America On Wheels: Model T", Brian Pearce's "Illusions of Life", and Jon Moisan's "Free Wall" will compete for this year's Hoosier Lens Award.

Casting Call: HD Feature Film auditions- Horror Comedy
From the crew that recently made "My Name is Jerry" (watch trailer here) comes a feature length comedy called "My Bloody Wedding" to be shot in the greater Indianapolis area in late July. We will be shooting in high end HD and this will be a heavily promoted non-union film premiering in the fall.
About the film:
Doug, a twenty-something dorky momma's boy, is about to marry Callista- a blonde bombshell who had just become possessed by an ancient demon. Doug thinks she has come down with mono in the midst of cheating on him, when in reality she is sneaking around at night and eating his friends and family. When he learns the truth it's up to him and his remaining groomsmen to stop Callista and her bridesmaids from their reign of terror.
NEWS: 48 Hour Film Project returns to Indianapolis
Big Car Collective, a nonprofit arts organization based in Fountain Square, is producing the 2009 Indianapolis portion of the 48 Hour Film Project, an international competition of short films made in 48 hours. Registration for teams opens June 2 with a series of meet and greet events following. The competition takes place July 31-Aug. 2 with the film screening -- where audience members have a chance to help select prizes -- taking place at The Tobias Theater at the Indianapolis Museum of Art on Aug. 6. This is the third year for the event in Indianapolis. More than 20 teams participated last year.
NEWS: MAKING QUENCH Screening / PSYCHO NUBS Live:
The long-awaited documentary, MAKING QUENCH, will finally have its
premiere screening at the Richmond Art Museum Saturday June 6th.
The feature-length doc chronicles the entire production phase of
Zack Parker's QUENCH, an independent film shot in Richmond, IN in the fall of '06, and released worldwide last Halloween on DVD. Following the filmmakers
through frustrations, compromises, and blind enthusiasm, the film explores the relationships and struggles that comes from making a low-budget independent film.
After the show, there will be an after-party featuring the PSYCHO
NUBS, an Indiana-based punk band that also has a track in the film
QUENCH. The band is made up of two Richmond natives, Brandon Owens and Nick Shadle. Owens also shares a "Story by" credit on QUENCH, and is the Director of the documentary.

NEWS: Madison Filmmaker to debut films at the Ohio Theater
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Madison native Christopher Allen is returning to his hometown of Madison Indiana to debut his latest feature film, “A Time For The Heart” and his first entry into the RACSO Motion Pictures catalogue, “The Living Years”, shot entirely throughout Madison throughout the summer of 1995. “It’s a wonderful opportunity to finally showcase my work on the very screen that gave me the inspiration to be a filmmaker.” said award winning filmmaker Christopher Allen from his studio in Carmel, Indiana. “’Superman’ and ‘Star Wars’ played at the Ohio when I was a kid, significant, eventful films that made a lasting impact on me.” He added. “I can still see the lines around the block around Rogers Drug Store to the Elks Lodge.”
NEWS: Nero Bloom: Private Eye and The After Hours Screenings
Huntington University film student Jason Eberly's films Nero Bloom: Private Eye and The After Hours will be premiering at Fort Wayne's Cinema Center on May 8th and running for the public May 9th-14 and showings have already begun selling out.
50% of the ticket sales will go toward helping Jason and his company submit the films for national exposure.
