Making a period piece? How about a fantasy or sci-fi movie? Or maybe you need police uniforms or soldiers in your film? Like all indie filmmakers, you are working on a very tight budget and need to be creative, without sacrificing the quality of your movie.
Filmmaker and Art Director Tim Richardson and Make-up FX Artist Andy Swisher use their experience from working on a myriad of styles of films to show you how to accomplish the costumes you desire. They will discuss the costume design process, acquiring costumes locally and online, and how to plan your costuming for special effects and crowd scenes.
This free and open to the public presentation will take place immediately following our regular monthly Mid America Filmmakers meeting which begins at 7:00 p.m. You are welcome to join us for both.
This is part of a monthly series of “Making Movie Magic” workshops. Please visit our website at www.midamericafilmmakers.org for updates and additional workshop listings.
