Here's where you go to register and get more info:

The 48 Hour Film Project is your chance make a short film -- write, cast, shoot, edit and score it -- in just two days. On Friday night, teams get a character, a prop, a line of dialogue and a genre, all to include in their movie. 48 hours later, the movie must be complete.

• So get your team together, register now and mark your calendars for production weekend: August 2-4.
• See your finished film Saturday night, August 10 at The Toby at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Registration dates:

• Early Bird Registration: Before Monday, July 8: $140
• Tuesday, July 9 to Tuesday, July 23: $160
• Wednesday, July 24 to Friday, August 3: $175

Why Should You “48”?

• It’s an intense, collaborative creative experience you will never forget.
• Everybody’s doing it.  Indy is one of over 80 cities running a competition this year.
• It’s an international competition. One lucky film from the U.S. will make it to the famed Cannes Film Festival!

Are You a 48 Hour Veteran?  New this year…

• There is no limit on how many cameras you can use
• The credits can be 1 minute, the story can be 7
• The genres have been switched up a bit
