Gen Con Indy Film Festival Features Indiana Films

Gen Con Indy, the worlds largest gaming convention hits the Indianapolis Convention Center August 4th -7th 2011. There will be in excess of 40,000 in attendance. The Gen Con Indy Film Festival will showcase a worldwide selection of films and web series, including many from Indiana. The Film Festival is held as part of the convention at the Downtown Westin Hotel. Indiana based productions include Beverly Lane, Leah Not Leia, Gamer Chick, Drakkenstrike, Zorg and Andy, Paranormal Investigators, Zrachne Vile, Post-Apocalyptic Zombie Shotgun Madness, Left For Dead, Obsolescence, The Meat Eater, and Night of the Living Spuds. There will also be many panels on film making throughout the festival. Lloyd Kaufman from TROMA Pictures will be hosting, "Create Your Own Damn Movie" master class three times during the festival. In these intense and entertaining classes Mr Kaufman will impart his many years of experience to his students, the class will require additional registration. Mr. Kaufman will also be presenting the awards to the winners of the film festival Sunday Afternoon, to be followed by screenings of the winners.
