July 8, 2011 (Indianapolis, IN) – The Wet Your Pants Comedy Film Festival, entering its third year, will be entertaining audiences on April 21 & 22, 2012 at the Madame Walker Theatre Center in beautiful downtown Indianapolis. All the festival proceeds go to benefit the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana. In the two previous years the festival has screened 32 films from around the country and around the world. This year the festival hopes to increase the number of films submitted and screened for a second year in a row. In an attempt to do so submissions are now officially open. Any filmmakers interested in submitting to this annual event should visit the festival website (www.wetyourpantsfilmfest.org) for a submission form or contact the festival via e-mail at info@wetyourpantsfilmfest.org. Wet Your Pants Comedy Film Festival was started by Indianapolis filmmaker Brian Pearce in memory and honor of his brother Steve Pearce who worked diligently to raise awareness of kidney disease before he succumbed to its complications in September of 2009. The festival is dedicated to raising money for the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana and awareness of kidney disease. Kidney disease affects millions of Americans and their families each and every day.
