SCALENE Wins Top Prize!

Los Angeles / Indiana - The Indiana-Produced film SCALENE took away the top honors at the 14th Annual Los Angeles-based Film Festival Dances With Films last week.

Winning the Grand Jury Award for Best Feature, SCALENE Premiered to a full house at the Laemmle Sunset 5 theatre, located in the heart of Sunset Blvd. in West Hollywood.

SCALENE is Indiana native Zack Parker's third feature and is described as a perceptual thriller told from three separate points-of-view and revolves around a mother's revenge after her mentally-handicapped son is accused of a sexual assault by his student caretaker.

The film was Co-Produced by Carlos Jimenez Flores, Co-Written by Brandon Owens and stars veteran character actress Margo Martindale (MILLION DOLLAR BABY, SECRETARIAT, F/X's JUSTIFIED), Hanna Hall (FORREST GUMP, THE VIRGIN SUICIDES, Rob Zombie's HALLOWEEN), and Adam Scarimbolo (A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS, LYEMLIFE, STAKE LAND), as well as several Midwest actors including Jim Dougherty and LaDonna Pettijohn.
