The Gen Con Film Festival is back for 2011, bigger and better than ever! Not only can we accept submissions digitally via Without A Box, but we are offering cash prizes for the winner of each of our three categories, Feature Films, Short Films, and Web Series. Submissions for the film festival are subject to an entry fee this year. Gen Con will be held August 4th-7th 2011 at the Indiana Convention Center, downtown Indianapolis.

Gen Con Indy is the original, longest running, best attended, gaming convention in the world. For over 41 years, Gen Con Indy has been setting the trend and breaking records. The Gen Con Indy Film Festival focuses on genres that appeal to our gaming attendees. These include, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, Animation, Anime, Martial Arts, related parodies and documentaries. Cash Prizes will be awarded in the categories of Best Feature Film, Best Short Film, and Best Web Series. Filmmakers are encouraged to attend and participate in the many film related panels and discussions during the festival.
