Lightning in a Bottle is a comedy/fantasy/mystery film about a recent college grad who is recruited by a secret organization that protects the world from magical creatures. We're starting production in October, and hope to be finished by February. Most of the filming will occur in the Muncie/Anderson area.
Our Production Designer will oversee hair, makeup, costumes, and props. We would like him or her to be an expert in at least one of these areas, and will find assistants to help in others. We're an extremely low budget film, so we can't pay a salary up front (no one's getting one), but we are offering some of the key positions, including the Production Designer a percentage of the film, if it would make any money. We will also be providing meals on set.
Dog Named Spot Media is a Muncie based production company started by BSU alumni which offers creative services, in addition to producing feature films and television shows. Last year Dog Named Spot Media produced its first feature film, "Finding Xanadu" which is now up for consideration in numerous film festivals.
