Synopsis: An elderly man named Dave Bishop struggles to maintain his once strong relationship with his wife Leila. Dave wakes up daily and goes to her bedside to read to her, listen to her, and love her while trying to be loved himself. But throughout his time awake, he is haunted with flashbacks from the joyous times in life to the times he wishes he could forget. Then, as if he is pushed down, he hears the flat line of his wife’s heart yet, stands at the door, watches, and continues to live with her though he doesn’t realize that she has passed on. He ends up being the one who finally feels loved yet also the one who is being loved by someone not even there.
